Ok I'll get the other one but it says this one IS tripod ready and the hook even comes away from the strap so you can put it on your tripod.

Maybe I'm just confused. I'm taking it back today and I'll get the one you posted about, Mitchel.

I noticed after looking at my receipt last night that the filter I bought for the zoom lens was 60 bucks! The other two were 30 each. I guess it's a lot cheaper than replacing your damaged lens though.

What do you recommend for cleaning the lenses?
