JaNan, Yug's advice is good, and I think you should do exactly what he has suggested.


I've read about this many times and it's recommended you remove the original growth of the rootstock coming from the base and below the graft, so the grafted plant will thrive.


I know you'll hate doing it but get out those shears and snip, snip, snip!
