Default Re: Basjoo acceleration

Hi everyone! : )

Here is the progress of my old (one year) group of basjoos:

26-th of may

and on the next day, 27-th

There are 3 another young pups (one is well visible in the front of picture), and the father of a second groups of that kind of bananas, i planted 3 weeks ago seems very well too(will post some photos this weekend). His story is very interesting: one of the girls in the office gave it to me last year, an half ft tall. I planted him in a little pot, but very fast understood that this is NOT the same like my old Dwarf Cavendish - he grows veeeery faster, and i re-planted him twice in bigger pots till winter, when he was the only survival from the group of 4 or 5 another young bananas(dwarf C.) even became a bit taller till spring.
The interesting difference between him and that basjoos on a photos is a soft, but nonably pink color of that part of stem where the leafs are separating from it and maybe they seems some waxy...
I will try to make some more quality photos this weekend too.
regards!
