I have used fungicide and then I have not used it so I dont think it makes any difference to be honest. The most important thing is to cover the p-steams with plastic to keep them dry!!!!!!! If they get wet and cold they will rot, the roots will most likely still survive but growth in the spring with start slower. - Good luck
