I'm excited to say that next month will be 5 years into Bananas.org
Thank you for all your support. We have over 7,000 members now and for that I want to say thanks to everyone who helped us grow to this point. It's amazing how the project went from idea to reality, and a passion of bananas with other like minded people was able to grow to something so large. Thanks to everyone of our loyal members, many of whom I have met personally (and many of you have met each other, which is even more amazing to me) and I cannot say enough good things about. Some of the most intelligent and generous people around are members here on Bananas and I want to express my gratitude for all the good times over the past 5 years.

Moving forward, I plan to introduce new features to the site to continue to make the information more accessible, useful, interactive, and fun to use. With a strong focus on each of those aspects. If you have a great idea for the site, please let me know what it is, because in the spirit of the community, I always try to oblige and find balance wherever needed. We can even revisit some old ideas from long ago that perhaps have not been mentioned lately on our forums.
