Default Re: Are there still plants of the cross Mysore x Musa basjoo existing?

Gabe15, this is the link to the document, there I read about the success with cross Mysore x basjoo. I will renew it in Brazil, I do also have 2 plants of Mysore in Brazil.

But I wonder if are still plants from this cross living today. If yes, how to contact to get pups from them for Brazil, for Helton and me and also for Achim in Austria?

There are also Musa "Rio" and another cultivar, which are also successfully crossed with Musa basjoo with viable hybrid seedlings. Are there other names for "Rio" and the other cultivar? I will try to get these cultivars for my cold hardy fruit banana breeding program in Brazil.

Best wishes
Joachim
