It’s so nice to hear feedback and a taste report on the real Mona Lisa! My TC from agristarts never got over 5’ and never flowered! In South America the FHIA02 Mona Lisa also called the Cuban banana...

Lucky! I’m still waiting on my Dwf Namwah to pop out a flower. It’s about 6’8” right now. As of yesterday, I can see another roller leaf poking out. I’m pessimistic about getting fruit by winter....

Times have changed!

Years ago I was very active here and grew over 30 varieties of bananas. Getting a Gros Michel plant was akin to catching a leprechaun! I did manage to get a couple at great expense sent from Hawaii...
