Thanks Joe.. this is a rooted cutting i believe. I pruned it at the break and potted it up to see what happens. I also am trying to root the broken top.....

Damn i hate to hear that! I thought they were pretty cold hardy.. I guess ill see what happens. The plant was pricey (like 130), and supposedly was supposed to be bearing size, but it arrived broken...

Its an 8 foot tree.. and cost accordingly unfortunately! The top 3rd of the trunk was broken, so i still potted it, but emailed TyTy to see what they are willing to do.

If it hasnt corrected itself, you could always pull it out, and repot in well draining mix such as 50/50 cactus mix and perlite. You will also be able to inspect the roots and get idea if its too...

That should work.. same stuff, that is just a bit more expensive than the bulk roll.. i think mine was 250x12 and was around 130 for the roll.
Boca would be a nice environment to grow for sure!

Yea they definitely do not like frost! You could just wrap the pstem with some frost cloth so she starts growing from here next season..
