I don't know if this term is used by others or not. Normally, "choke" is used when the flower is unable to emerge from the top of the pseudostem but it will sometimes emerge from the side. ...

Patty, nice corms don't need roots as they'll grow right back. It's easier to ship without and to make sure they are free of pests, etc.

Hey, Tony, if you can guaranty 9-10 pups each like you're getting on your Cal Gold, I'd send them both to you and just drive down there a few times a year to talk to them real nice! LOL

Hey, Bob, I'll try to remember. Last year I bought 5 of these pups and gave away the 2 largest to a local club which raised $165 auctioning those 2 plants off. I had the 2 weakest ones die on me...
