Very little! It really depends on what you soil already contains which you can find via a soil test. I would highly doubt you need more the fertilizer contains.

Are you sure it's seaweed in the river? It might be algae. As long as it isn't one of the toxic types, you should be fine. Definitely loaded with nutrients!

The corm is the stem. As long as the corm isn't damaged, it can bring up new growth. (they are protected from the growth though)

What you see above the ground are just leaves.

Try picking up Fafard #2 potting mix. You won't find it at normal consumer stores but professional horticulture suppliers. Some garden center may carry it. Pro-mix BX is also a good mix.
