No problem, the photos, it might just be me. But is it rotten? It might just be the photo but I would remove all the excess dead stuff and dead roots. But otherwise. I’d put it in 50/50 perlite soil...

It could be a namwah tbf. It’s honestly hard to tell. All bananas are so similar unless it has clear defining features eg variegations or stem colorisation ect

I own a gros Michel, it hasn’t fruited but looks similar to this. Check for white specs as my gros Michel has lots of em. But idk if that’s specific for a gros Michel. But, even with fruit it’s hard...

A little advice. You won’t get people advertising there aeaes. Doesn’t happen. If they do in my experience it’s sometimes a scam. Best bet is to google it or go on Facebook.

This feed is so old lol but, that leaf or a cigar leaf is a clear sign of calcium deficiency. so overfertilizing can cause this to ooccur.

Nope not really. They pup when they want to. It takes however long it takes. My Orinoco has pupped like man but Siam ruby has only put one out. If the plants healthy It’ll pup, I wouldn’t worry about...

From what I’ve researched, all banana varieties are affected by banana bunchy top. From what I’ve read there’s no cure other than termination of the plant and pups.

I think this is a iron/sulphur deficiency due to the ligh leaves. But I don’t trust myself.

So I used the organic stuff for 90% of my bananas. The Orinoco has taken a shine to it....

Simple answer is yes, algae is full of nutrients, nitrogen being a big one. It smells cause (i tbink) the anaerobic respiration or day. Make it smell or it’s still water making Botulism form.

Dwarf red will produce edible fruit. Depends on the pot size. Large pot with fertiliser then sure. May take a while tho. Keep it well and every banana will produce fruit.
