Are Cavendish bananas edible or just ornamental? I have 2 that are fruiting now and was wondering if they will be as good as my ice cream ones that I just harvested.

I noticed today 4 or 5 are more yellow than green. 2 days ago they were all green so this happens pretty quickly I guess. Thank you and I will cut them down tomorrow.
