Of course on the plant container it said grows well indoors, meaning to me that it does OK in shade. Not from what you guy's say, & you know better than a label. Since I'm a newbie I will keep it in...

I have been reading. My only concern, at this point is the one plant that I purchased for $5.00 normally 30.00. The new growth was rotten. Hoping it will survive. Have you had any luck with that?...

Sounds like you are close to us? We have chciken's as well.. I won't let them get close to the banana plant!! Our duck's will eat just about anything that's green.
