When in doubt throw them out.
It def seemed to have it idk not worth risking, really horrible disease and so many people are clueless that have backyard bananas I see

I cut them when they are a good size you like on the tree. Then just place them in the sun for the quickest ripening. If you prefer slower ripening leave them in the shade for a fridge. Not sure...

Well the main reason why I transplanted it was because it had fallen sideways from a giant banana and I figured it would die although it was very healthy then. It had a baby attached to it as well...
