I planted the two surviving Thai Papaya plants I started last Summer(the rest were eaten by Possums in the greenhouse. The 3 least damaged I brought onto the f porch and dragged them in the house...

Well, here on the Florida Panhandle, I've discovered that most of mine didn't make it. The Dwarf Namwa nad the local passalong Orinoco did(with heavy damage). All the FHIA and SH culivars were toast....

That's the problem. Up unto about a decade ago they never Bloomed because our Summers weren't long enough. Now, they sometimes bloom but I've never heard of anyone getting them to Ripen on tree and...

Nope. Close(34F) but not even spot Freezes. Better safe than sorry anyway;>. Hoping for another couple of weeks to size up the Yuca/Manioc/Tapioca tubers though....

'Viente Cohol' Arrived!
After a yr on the list, my 'VC' arrived today. A field separation pup instead of a tc, it's nice and healthy. As soon as I drop the husband off at work, I'll be back potting it up!
