Wow,old thread resurrection. If only my garden looked so nice this year. Seems a long cold wet spring ha taken it’s toll. I lost most of my ensete year before last and am slowly getting those back....

There are three Yucca next to the windmill, unfortunately planted before I cared about what varieties they were. The one in the center is bushier and the flower spikes are shorter than the other...

A knife, I try and use something big and sharp enough to cut it cleanly in one pass. A 8 inch carving knife works wonderfully if you get back into the kitchen before the wife notices ;)

One of the things I love most about bananas is that last spring these were 3x 6 inch indoor Tropicals at a local garden centre....
