I bought them online from wellsprings nursery. They were both put in the ground in mid May. They do sprout new leaves but they have not grown in size or PS thickness literally 1/8 inch increments...

My two dingbat labs ate to the ground a Mekong ang basjoo that I had winterized (cut to 3 foot). Are they going to return in the spring. They both died back in early October from frost.

A Little update. If anyone wants to chime in on my move please let me know ( I am very new to this). I have now re transplanted my basjoo, changing the soil type to a more cow manure oriented soil....

I'm almost positive that this is moisture related. The soil once watered for some reason really held onto moisture and was wet an inch under surface for at least a week. Right now I'm letting it dry...
