Mark that is bloom number 5. My grain nain bananas got to about 2" then ripened and split open,the double mahoi that bloomed half in the plant half out really didn't develop much really small 1-2"...

Well I brought the bananas in a couple weeks ago and mostly everything is going good. Some of the bananas on the gran nain have started to mold so I am just going to cut the flower off at that point...

I bring the pots into a sunroom during the winter that has a 10' tall ceiling. It is not really totally cold proof but it has a heater and I keep the room at 52F. This year I am going to buy some...

It was a 90F degree day today and it was amazing what it did to the flower today. Now you can see the bananas without lifting the petals. Several of the petals have rolled up and four or five hands...

Thanks for the advice I will have to run down and grab some at my nursery and see if the helps. I usually water when the top 0.5" or 1" is dry and I will water just enough to see the water to start...
