Re: Unique overwintering question
There seems to be a bit of mis-understanding here concerning the phrase "over wintering" bananas. Im going to assume that what this overused phrase originally meant is; cut the plant down, dig up the...

Re: First year Basjoos. Cut 'em or keep 'em?

Re: First year Basjoos. Cut 'em or keep 'em?

Re: Bananas wasting away please help
Most said before:
1. Well draining soil mix
2. Frequent watering (If it drains well it also has good aeration and you won't have rot.)
3. Maybe a little longer light duration
4. Misting to help with...

Re: Bananas wasting away please help
As long as they have leaves, they evaporate water, which has to be replaced. Your air humidity is low, as

Re: Planting distances
Hi Mike,
how close you want to plant depends mainly on your purpose:
Spacing of plants is generally proscribed to:
a) accommodate maximum development of the individual plant
b) allow access for care...
