Alright, cooking with gas. This is in a tent with a 1000w bulb, so the temps around it are generally high...

Re: Proper care when first getting a TC plant from grower?

Re: Proper care when first getting a TC plant from grower?

Because they're focusing on profit over product. They're buying stuff super cheap and holding onto it a minimal amount of time before selling it off. They aren't hardening the little guys enough,...

Re: Proper care when first getting a TC plant from grower?

I'd follow sputinc7's advice and just erect some form of a sun block. Hell, even some cheese cloth on stakes would probably do the trick. Basically you just want them to focus on root growth for a...

Re: Proper care when first getting a TC plant from grower?

Water them enough to keep the soil moist, but not drenched. Depending on your specific environment that might mean once every other day or once every three days or once and hour for 10 seconds...

Re: Should My banana trees go inside? What type of growlight will I need ?

Depends. How much do you want to spend? :D

I use a 1000w metal halide bulb ($90?)in a tent ($500) with other pieces of hardware to help all my growing. You can spend $1000 on lights alone if...
