Female hand is hand of bananas. You will see tiny male flowers being made. Counting from the last actual banana!

The end of this lovely journey is closing to an end. When does others recommend to cut the flower off? I snapped this photo this evening, about 30 minutes ago.

And here is the 20 lb banana harvest on 28th of October. My mom enjoy them my children's Taekwondo instructor enjoyed them and we sure did enjoy them ourselves. will definitely be doing this again next year hopefully. They ripened this week of November and were tremendously delicious.

From flag leaf to harvest was 3 months and 11 days in Southern Kentucky. To ripen took about 10 days on the window seal indoors.

You are a brave person to hang a banana bunch on a white door 😀. I would be scared of irreversible stains and a paint job.
