i learned about this a few years back, wanted to get one so bad but then found out it was isolated on an island with cannibal tribesmen.

I don't think that fruit matches the plant though.

I'd say covering your plant with frost cloth to protect from cold weather is easier than moving around a giant 50+lb pot!

maybe it was the muraru mulalu that was the tart tasting one. I think the mulalu also ripens yellow, and has similiar giant bunches.

Really interested in this strain. Gabe says its like a fruity version of gros michel, which sounds AMAZING. Yield is supposedly good too.

Any updates? Great to see this variety in development.

Dunno why there isn't more interest amongst hobby growers with Gros michel, they are still growing cavendish varieties, why? I don't know I guess they are afraid they will lose a plant to panama...
