I quite literally don’t know what I’m doing. I tried rescuing a Maureliii… it’s not going well.

Banana species and cultivars grown?:
I currently have only one banana. From what I understand she’s not really a banana at all. I’d rather enjoy that fan fact about her. She’s like a little imposter. I saw this and Ensete Maurelii in a bookstore, looking rather sad and declining. Despite not knowing a thing about them, I was compelled to rescue her. I do not feel it is going well. I could use all of the help I can get. My husband wants me not to worry because I can always get my money back from the store if she dies. Clearly, he doesn’t understand this isn’t about the money. I have an emotional bond with this plant now and I’m desperate for her to survive. She’s one of my children at this point… rather impressive considering she’s only been here a week.
