! Got it bookmarked under "health" & will check it out soon as Woody's done with his music junk. I drink lots of milk (Bordens) & if there's something weird going on, I sure wanna know about it. I'm still growing & sure don't wanna end up deformed or something!

I do know that Monsanto is making genetic altered foods & suing farmers and that's just not right. NOBODY should have patents to unprocessed foods, ever.

BTW, just wanna take a minute to thank you & Damaclese & everybody. Never met so many incredibly intelligent people. Think I learn more here than I do in school.

I agree with Eric. Here in Riverside, depending on lot size and quanity of food one wants to grow, you are required to get a permit. Heck, you need a permit just to change out a water heater. (Bureaucracy wanting deeper pockets).

I've said this before and I'll say it again: Those who have the Money buys the Power to Control.

its a hormone called BSTE i think its the way its spelled it keeps the cows in milk for up to 2 years instead of the normal 10 to 12 months and it increases there volume of milk but it makes Men have breast and it can produce breast milk in certain men that are sensitive to it its horrible it stress the cows a good dairy cow normally can be used for 6 years thees being her most fertile time but with BSTE a cow is all used up after only 3 to 4 years but she will have made 50% more milk in that short time what kind of life is that are we so cruel now that we just see the vary animals that feed us as some kind of machine to be tweaked to its highest preformens level being

And heres the kicker we have such a serpluse of milk in the US that the goverment gives Mony to Dariy farmers havint you wonderd why milk is so exspesiv when in the old days it was so cheep price saports planie and simple
A Gal of milk here in Vegas is well over 4$ US now you can find it cheeper but realy 4$ dallers thats rediculis for something that cost about 20 cents to produce

i wanted to say a few more things i know when you are raising Animals for food its important to not get to attached to them there not Pets i understand this but for the short time they are on this earth they should have the vary best life they can a cow will live quite a long time we have had old dairy cows live to be 20 thats along time for a cow i think they were happy and thats why they lived so long what dose a cow expect out of life but a nice grass field pasture and some cool running water to drink some sun on her back and the odd tree to scratch against its not much to have to provide

but instead we close them in to pins hardly big enough for them to move feed them threw bars and out of a troth were they must walk in their own excrement until some dumb ass farmer decides he has to go clean it up before the dairy inspector comes by we spray there teats with iodine that burns and most of them never see the sun and when we are done with her and she can barely stand we ship her to McDonald's becaus thats the only cow they will buy ad kill her with a 22 caliber bullet to the Head and if shes luck it will kill here right off but allot aren't that lucky

i eat Meat its part of the normal healthy diet of a humin beaing i tried to be a vegetarian and my health surfed not every one can make it on vegeas for life but i don't subscribe to corporate faming and i never will

I'm with Damaclese on animal treatment. My great grandpa had his cows in a pasture & chickens all over the place. Steers ended up in the freezer & chickens ended up with dumplings but at least they had a Normal life till then. I think people who think of animals as just comodities end up thinking of people the same way. Not good.

Oh, and Thanx Rmplmnz! The Monsanto world-monopoly needs to Stop before they control everybody's dinner table!

Mitchell - they mix the gm soy with the regular soy to prevent people from boycotting the gm stuff. I wouldn't even believe the health food stores as a normal consumer has no way of checking whether soy is gm free or not.

I grew my own heirloom edamame one year and it was really tasty! I'm not a big soy eater other than the occasional edamame snack. One thing you can do is buy organic. As it stands now all organic food is non GMO, but Whole Foods and the Non-GMO Project are creating a label for Non GMO conventionally grown foods. This is a big step in the right direction!

Uh oh, I didn't know soy was a bad thing. I sometimes drink that soymilk. Says it's made from organic soybeans. It's also s'posed to be good for women going thru menopause. I'm confused.
What about soy sauce? I love soy sauce.
Learning alot here...thanks for all the videos. Now I feel stupid.

well i I'm sure Menopause is not fun but drinking soy to get an estrogen boost will just delay the inevitable and besides its carcinogenic with out progesterone so i wouldn't recommend it
