Here are a few photos of my garden covered by snow.
The exotic plants do not like it... Poncirus trifoliata Eucalyptus dalrympleana (probably dead) Phyllostachys nigra 'Henonis' greetz, Sven

Very nice exemplar(s). Good gardening skills. Seeing this pic I too might start growing some interesting, semi tall bamboo, up to 3,5m (12 feet). Is there any interesting bamboo you could advise me? Zone 7b/8a. Thanks.

Thanks, but this bamboo is cutted on 4m (13 feet) heigt for replanting and transport, in the garden where he grow , he was 9m (29 feet) heigt. So this specie isn 't a semi tall bamboo.
There are many species semi tal bamboo: clumping (Fargesia, Chusquea)and running species(Phyllostachys, sasa, pseudosasa,...) Some species running verry hard and deep, others just a little bit or not so deep. A good site for bamboos with nice and clear pictures of a lot of species is here: Bamboo Garden Nursery

I sure hope all your plants survive! That poncirus Trifoliata should be OK, -- they are pretty hardy.
