Thanks, but this bamboo is cutted on 4m (13 feet) heigt for replanting and transport, in the garden where he grow , he was 9m (29 feet) heigt. So this specie isn 't a semi tall bamboo.
There are many species semi tal bamboo: clumping (Fargesia, Chusquea)and running species(Phyllostachys, sasa, pseudosasa,...)
Some species running verry hard and deep, others just a little bit or not so deep.
