Some banana photos from my trip to Brazil this month.

Some Manzanos (I think) near a Hotel Tropical in Manaus.

Orinocos on floating river lodge on the Amazon. These were amazing. They were planted directly onto a log that the whole building floats on. Between the tree and the water, apparently that is enough because this little mat had 3 bunches on it. Staying here was the experience of a lifetime. I highly recommend it! Uakari Lodge

My Dicksonia antartica Fern in the summer of 2013,

Its been stripped of its ferns now and wrapped in fleece.

Awesome plant, what zone does it live in that you can keep it in ground year round, and how old is it?

No idea of zone, sorry so a map for the whole of Lancashire.

My Fern was bought summer this year. Its staying in the ground, if you put fleece balls in the crown then build a nest of straw around netting you should be fine.

The Spirit of Innovation is on the ground as The Spirit of Goodyear flies overhead. The Pompano Beach Airship Base will be the first to be home to two blimps for an extended time period: The Spirit of Goodyear and The Spirit of Innovation.

We have a Goodyear blimp station just down the road in Carson.

Look at the picture closely, something happened here this morning...things are in disarray and have been moved around......the hint is in the grass.
It is an antler, and these two fellas really put it to each other.
