Lookin over off to the west as the sun sets is a close alignment of Jupter and Venus.
With a binoculars you might be able to see Jupiters moons

They are the two brightest objects in the sky and hard to miss.
This is prime banana watering time for you all in the south.

Full "flower "moon this week to usher in spring.

For those going to work at sunrise if you look to the east there will be a meteor shower event for the next month or so.

Same for those watering plants in the early morning just before sunrise, you might catch a glimpse.

This will be awesome if you can see it and you will remember it forever.
This photo was taken in a farmer's field in Hopkinsville KY where totality was the longest in the U.S.

The process lasts about 15 minutes and you experience dusk, midnight, and morning. The cows moo, crickets chirp, chickens crow, and horses whinny and humans look to the sky with their mouths wide open........surreal.

drove to my aunt and uncles place for a good view

one interesting thing was the flowers closed during that short time




it was overcast but it was just clear enough to make it a great experience

Supermoon this week and a partial lunar eclipse the same night.

With the fall cooldown and clearer skies in the Northern Hemisphere the
planets are easier to pick out in the dark skies.
