Well they SHOULD do well in there, but they haven't yet for me. I just keep trying though! I'm hardheaded and just keep on trying until I have just pooped out on something. Those darned strawberries just WON'T win!!!

Hi everyone. I got part of my xmas present today. I got a beautiful braided lucky bamboo plant and a small Italian Stone Pine. I'm probably going to bring the pine indoors when we get bitterly cold temperatures, but its outside right now

Hi Cam! Ohhhhh they sound nice! Take some pictures for us. How come you have your Christmas so early? We have ours early sometimes because no one will be around at Christmas. We have to share with the other families and they all live in East Texas.

I have part of my present early because its a plant and my mom wanted to finish christmas shopping this weekend. I still have another present that I will open on Christmas day. Here are a few pictures of the Lucky bamboo and the Italian Stone Pine. The pine was only $3 and pretty healthy. I may try creating a bonsai but I don't have any experience with bonsai. Its worth a try lol.

I'm not as into Christmas as I usually am most years. Sucks without Henry around.


I tried to re-do the shots I screwed up on but the phone kept ringing and I couldn't get to them. I wanted to take a shot of the Jade flowers because they're now blooming. Remember I told you about them Janan...a few weeks back? Bob told me they'd be white, but they're not! Can't wait to show you...they're adorable.

Cam they are beautiful!!!! That is the most lush lucky bamboo that I have ever seen! And the pine is precious, three bucks is a steal!!! Are you going to decorate it for Christmas?

Yes Sherry I do remember you telling me about the Jade. What color are they? Hurry up with dinner!!! Take pictures between bites!!!

They're pink!!! I can't show them until tomorrow though because they're in a spot that can't easily be reached. Once daylight hits, I can zoom in.


I'll get some shots of a few other things tonight if I can though. I'd like to show the many gifts you sent me Janan.


I'm planning for Monday...to send off the parcels. Sorry, but I just got busy at my mom's with her bunny, Janan & Jordan. I didn't forget about you guys though and the bulbs are packed well in the little boxes I got. Don't laugh when you see them.

I wish I could help you with your Christmas cheer Sherry. In previous years especially after my dad passed away I wasn't in the Christmas spirit. I miss Henry too, he was such a smart and cute bird. Thanks Janan, I've never seen them as lush either and this one was from Lowes lol. A lot of them were yellowing so I picked through several and I spotted a nice healthy one. I have an Oriental theme to my room so I wanted to add a plant that could tolerate low light. I love the Stone Pine but I don't have any ornaments small enough for it. It came with a stake that has Merry Christmas on it, so I put that in it lol

Yeah, I know you guys all love Henry and miss him too. Poor little guy. He would be perched on my shoulder right now if he was here, gently pecking at the side of my face and making me turn to face him for kisses! He'd even make a kiss sound as he pressed his tiny beak right up against my lips. It was utterly adorable. What a little character he was. I miss him bad.


So I was loading and posting some shots. It's sunny out today and the pics are much nicer when it is.

I'm having an ok Sunday. I watched movies with my mom and sister. Its starting to get cloudy and I think its going to be that way for the rest of the week

Yeah Cam I've been watching movies a lot lately too, on my iPad.


You're right, it is hard to get into the xmas spirit when you've lost people you love. I know just how it feels.


Glad you like my Venus Flytrap plant, Cam. Hopefully I can keep it going for awhile. I just can't believe how much it's growing right now. It sure is happy.


Think I'm gonna go Christmas shopping tomorrow. I got my mom a gorgeous HD 40" Sony television for Christmas but she got it a couple weeks back. I just have to shop for a few friends still.


I really don't need or want anything for Christmas this year. I have everything. I want things that money can't buy.


Gonna get the Christmas groceries on the 19th or 20th, so stuff will be fresh. Definitely cooking a turkey this year with all the fixings. Don't think we're gonna do too much baking though for xmas. I ate like a queen at the cottage and it's time to cut back. I like staying slim, even if it means sacrificing. I'm not gonna gain weight over Christmas.

I replanted some plants I have and went out to eat for my birthday today with my parents. Other then that I just sat around on the computer

Had some friends over yesterday, we played on one of their Xbox 360's and stuff. Had a pretty good time.

So are you staying home for Christmas? I am. I was going to go somewhere but decided against it. Christmas is best at home anyway.


So I was just misting my aero-garden plants, trying to keep those nasty mites at bay. They are really trying hard though.


I gotta get some geranium seeds together for Cam. Think I have seeds for pink ones.

I am staying home for Christmas, always do. We actually have an all day get-together with my moms side of the family right on Christmas day. We have lunch all the way to desert at 8PM

Just from what my parents are getting me for my birthday and Christmas, then along with everything else I got for my birthday I already have enough to get the playstation 3 I have been wanting. So maybe I will be able to get some games also.

One of my friends got me a manga book for my birthday, already read the whole thing through in one day

Hi Gang!

I've been busy making Christmas presents all day today and just now decided to take a break. I've made 4 pairs of earrings, 3 necklaces, and a bracelet. Whew! My neck, back and eyes really feel it too! And I still have a lot to go!

Yeah that Venus fly trap is very cool! I have bought several, but killed them pretty quick.

I do have some good sprouting news. I noticed I finally have a Cherimoya seed sprouting. I had given up on those dang boogers! And a dwarf pomegranate also. I'll take some pictures in the morning.

Cool. I have PS2 but I saw the PS3 at Best Buy when I bought my iPAD. Looks awesome.
