Default I am tuned out of "bananas"...

...and completely enthralled by the US primaries/caucuses, which are not only
important for the US but for the planet as a whole.

See you all in November!

I have seen your posts many times on the forum, but for the first time really read your signature. Just so you know, I learned something new. I will admit, I didn't know what "enthralled" meant. So I googled it. Now I know. Thank you.

On another note, how are your plants holding up in the pit shelter you made for them. I am thinking of building one for myself.

Yes Mark, these shelters have performed very well other years, but this year I have
not opened them yet.

I had some problems last fall, because the stumps kept on growing after I had already
packed them in and lifted the lids up. Thus I placed ever bigger rocks on top of the
lids. I have no idea, what I will find when I open them up. May be PSs formed like
cork screws?

But I hope, that they have given up trying.
PS: There are pictures of the next spring somewhere in this forum. Just google
"permanent shelter winter and spring". Google often works better than the 'bananas'
search engine.

It's already cold here so global warming isn't helping my banana patch this year!

Yes, and things are going to get very dicey in a couple of weeks. No matter who wins, someone is going to be upset, and decades of hostilities are going to be released. Have your supplies stocked up and ready to go. If you think the shortages and lines were bad 7 months ago, you ain't seen nuthin' yet.

I literally wrote the book on building ghost guns, and I was a consultant for Shroomsday Preppers, LOL. I'm good to go.

What kind of seeds are you looking for, to get your project going?
