Angry Electric dryer help!

Dryer was bought new in 2010 and heating element was replaced shortly after. My Dad and I tested the thermostat, heating element components and fuses. Nothing seemed to be wrong, but one time it will dry clothes perfect and be very hot, next time it won't. In general it takes a while to get warm. We tested everything we could to are knowledge. But we wondered what the chances are the switch for fluff, warm, hot could be going funny? Please add your experiences with your dryer. Thanks.

I replaced the whole control panel once. Just easier. If it were mine, I'd change the thermostat since it only sometimes doesn't work, the thermostat might be going bad but not all the way busted.

Your vent hose might be limited by how close the dryer is up against the wall. Might have to vacuum out the vent as well. People sometimes forget that a dryer works better not butted up against the wall, but it might be more convenient that way. I functional over fashion.. lol. :^)

True on the thermostat. Nope it's not clogged or pushed to far against the wall. Just like a car, thermo might not open one time then the next time it does and your car is running cool and you have heat.

Does seam odd the switch would go bad.

Like if we turn it on for 60 mins for a bunch of clothes,it might be done and the clothes are still damp. Then after its ran then it usually gets hotter, sometimes more then others. So yep has to be the thermostat.
