Looks like Japanese beetles to me but I know nothing. If you want them gone, spray them with 1 T. of dishwashing soap to 1 gallon of water. Maybe. Soapy water worked for me up north; bugs of all sorts that nibbled it didn't like eating soap. Not too strong and not Dawn!
