Clivia, or Kaffir Lily, brightening up an unexpected snowy few days on the Island. Not really blooming in my garden, but it spends the summer on the deck, coming inside to bloom at this time of year. Too beautiful not to share here.

A Native Plant is blooming and fruiting. It's fruit is eaten by birds and small animals. It is pretty when not much else is in flower or fruit.

finally my biggest amarylis is blooming.. i think i should have
put it in a warmer window.. the other 2 bulbs are spiking now.. so.. should enjoy for awhile.. ![]() plan to put them outside this summer in good compost and sunny spot.. hope i remember they are there in oct..and bring them in.. LOL |
