Brighamia insignis, Hawaiian Vulcan palm, very endangoured on Hawaii,
seed saved by the IUCN and multiplied in Holland.
From every sold plant an amount goes to the IUCN(The world conservation union)

No, I don't think so, it is endemic to hawaii, it has been there for probably a million years
on the isle of kaua'i, only 7 plants were left at a certain moment.
The reason for this is that it had to be pollinated by a certain moth wich
disappeared over the years.
