Rare color Ohia Lehua blossom (metrosideros polymorpha)
See anyhting like this before...endemic to Hawaii...also looking for Brighamia Insignis...Can anymone help? I want to post this photo but I'm having trouble...As soon as I figure it out I'll post it...sorry

Brighamia insignis, Hawaiian Vulcan palm,very endangoured on Hawaii,

No, I don't think so, it is endemic to hawaii, it has been there for probably a million years
on the isle of kaua'i, only 7 plants were left at a certain moment. The reason for this is that it had to be pollinated by a certain moth wich disappeared over the years. Ron Last edited by the flying dutchman : 09-13-2007 at 04:59 AM. |
