Passion Fruit Advice Wanted

I am looking for a purple and a yellow passion fruit vine to grow in North Carolina. I don't know of a good source to buy hardy plants. Does anyone know of a good supplier of passion fruit plants?

Additionally, I would like to know the best variety to buy. I live in zone 7. I would like a sweeter fruit as opposed to a more tart fruit. I am intrigued by the Black Knight variety which lends itself to pot culture but am open to suggestions. Any ideas about what varities, purple or yellow, I should buy?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Passion Fruit Advice Wanted

The two sources with which I am most familiar are Logees and Georgia Vines. I can't give advice on fruit since the only passiflora I have fruited are weeds, but both companies have tempting catalogs. The yard weed is a maypop that occasionally produces a sweet fruit but whose main interest is overrunning the lawn and my hardy kiwis. At least it hasn't tried for the 'tender' kiwis yet. in the greenhouse the only one that has lived through the winter produces tiny sweet berries that end up germinating in most every pot. A few weeks ago I spotted a promising vine in the back of the greenhouse that looks like it wintered over and isn't a weed but it will take a year before I know what it is. I'm reasonably sure that the other hardy vines in the yard will not fruit.
