Yes the fruit were purple. No one bought them and they just spoiled. I also saw star fruit for the first time there. Mollissima is the banana passionflower right? I may have asked that question before lol

I live in a small house so I have limited room and windows. My dragon fruit plants are going to take up most of the window space. I had brought my Incense indoors last winter and it died on me, though the caerulea seedlings did well by my bedroom lamp.

Are you sure the incarnata died ? They do die to the ground but re-sprout in spring,Incarnata is cold hardy and can take your winter

Both my Incense and my Incarnata died. The incarnata did a strange thing. It died and then sprouted new growth and then died again lol. I pulled it up and it didn't have much of a root system. I tried waiting for both but I gave up on them and threw them both out. The Incense was definitely dead and I had both growing in a container indoors through the winter.

Yes. The Incarnata was given to me from a local person. It grows wild on the side of some highway in Dallas. When he dug it up, it didn't have much of a root system. When I first saw the plants I kind of knew they wouldn't make it but I tried anyways. I wish I could find it around my area. But next year I may look for some plants since it seems so hardy. I wouldn't mind it taking over because I lost so many plants from the drought

The caerulea is pretty cold hardy but you might want to pile some mulch/leaves around it this winter. It may die back but should come back in spring

I'll remember to do that this year. I have several huge trees around my yard so I get plenty of leaves
