Congrats Harvey! Post a pic. when you get a chance, thanx.

Yes post a picture. I'd love to see what it looks like. I am soaking some calamondin orange seeds and some columnar apple seeds that I'll be planting today. I just need the guava seeds to come and we'll have a regular little indoor tropical fruit aisle in a few years....plus I want to get more bananas.

IT CAME, IT CAME!!! THE ELITE GOLD CAME- Its a small little plant from Wellsprings Gardens but it is very healthy unlike the banana plant I got from Hirts Gardens. So now I have an Elite Gold, A Chiquita Sweet Cayenne?, I just planted the two varieties of Columnar Apples and Colamodine Orange seeds, will be starting some Ground Cherries-(Pineapple flavored) and Sunberries and when it comes, the guava!

Here's a golden that's been in a glass of water for about 10 days. When I first peeled the small lower leaves off, they were about half the size, aND PLAIN. They got longer, and developed the hairs, in the water.

I've grown some from seed also. It's a slow process, but it can be done.

Here are some seed that have been sitting in some water for a couple of months. They're about the size and shape of sesame seeds, only darker. A couple of them are showing little green shoots.

Here are some plants, shortly after germinating. The circular thing in the center of the picture is a dime.

Here are some, at about 3 months.

I've had mine in water for alot longer and it still hasn't developed any hairs on it. I took off the bottom leaves and removed the fruit...ugh! But the one I bought is growing...
