Ok, now i will give up from Glenn to choose Maha Chanook. So in principle it will be Valencia Pride, Maha Chanook, Mallika, Alphonso and Osteen. My dout now is between Mallika and Nam Doc Mai... or should i choose some other variety?

Malika and Nam Doc Mai are excellent mango varieties, but I would choose Nam Doc Mai!....Just to add versatility (Asian mango origin) to your collection!....

Very good mango collection: Mahachanok, Valencia Pride, Alphonso, Nam Doc Mai, Osteen!......

Luis,

List of Mango varieties in order by cold hardiness (my personal opinion). As reference, starting in # 1 as the best cold hardy mango variety:

1) Alphonso
2) Malika
3) Osteen
4) Valencia Pride
5) Maha Chanok

Because of your location, I changed my mind on The Naim Doc Mai 4......I choose Malika instead of Naim Doc Mai 4.....Malika is a more cold hardy mango variety than Nam Doc Mai 4.....Hopefully it helps!.....

Hello MMelendez! I just buy Maha Chanok, Valencia Pride, Nam Doc Mai 4 and Osteen. Now i just have some questions on Alphonso, because i read that it gives goos mangos only in India... i read very good reports about Edward mango. What do you think regarding cold hardiness? The only problem seams to be the poor production... do you know it? Thank you very much!

Hi Luis!

I'm sorry for my late reply!....I will still choose/select Alphonso over Edward!......Alphonso mango originated in northern India so it should be very cold hardy mango variety!....Edward mango originated in South Florida!....A very tasty mango but poor production!....I have never tasted either one yet!....Hopefully it helps!

Thank's a lot my friend! Yes this is my final choice: Maha Chanook, Nam Doc Mai 4, Alphonso, Valencia and Osteen. Thank's a lot for your pacience with me. It's not easy to choose on mango varieties, they are a lot!
