Don't worry because my cannas are not budging either. The only ones that are growing are the ones I have in a pot that I leave out in an extremely warm and sunny spot. The ground is still too cold here for any of the ones I planted in the ground to move much. My cannas usually sprout now, but with the lack of a really long heat wave so far, they haven't sprouted. It usually takes about a week of sun and 80s to move then out of the ground and once they are about 2 feet tall, there is no stopping there growth! My first flowers come in late june for the ones in pots and mid July for the ones in slightly shadier spots in the ground.

Surprisingly here in FL its been chilly the last few days in the 60s which is record lows for us right now, we are barely getting over 80 this week and last week we were in the mid 90s. I have put some things into pots myself because I'm not sure where I want to plant! What annuals are you planting for color?

We haven't seen the sun in nine days, and if we're lucky might get a brief glimpse on Saturday, then back to the gloomies, please take our rain.

My supposedly yellow flowering dwarf - at least it is a dwarf (AND it does have bronze leaves)!!!

I have to include this one because it is my favorite right now, and my favorite leaf with almost 50% red purple color!!!
