![]() These photos were taken in a garden park in Dalat. Dalat is known as a region with 'eternal
spring' and it occupied a unique place during the war. I am told, that it was spared from fighting, because the big shots from both sides spent their R&R time there. That is, why you can see now mature trees there, while the greater region around it was defoliated with Agent Orange and the trees subsequently died, but not before the pine trees of the region tossed out plenty seeds. Now you can see dense forests of pine trees, but all trees are less than 40 years old. Unfortunately the resulting monoculture makes the trees of the whole region vulnerable to disease. This photo was taken in Dalat, but not in that garden-park in which the following were shot. Pretty carriage On closer inspection, Cinderella was not in it. ![]() This horse is a sculpture
