Default Sweet Mash

This is a real simple snack/desert (or meal if you want!) I do whenever
I can.

You get a really ripe plantain, so ripe its black.
Peel and chop into 1cm slices.
Boil with a little water (just enough to cover the slices) for 5 min.
Drain most of the water but leave some in the pan.

Optional: At this point I like to add a good knob of pure butter
(preferably organic)

Mash it up good with a potato masher.
Serve as is or add dates, cream, honey, or maple syrup etc
(fresh medjool dates and cream are divine)

Adding all the sweets and fats make it harder to digest so if making for
A weak or sick person plain mash is best.
Maybe with a little honey, making It one of the easiest foods on the tummy!

Peace.
