since the cancer went to my brain right before Christmas I was not able to walk. They put me on radiation and steroids. Within a week I was walking again. My last scan showed no more cancer in my brain the one in the lung was still shrinking. I go for another scan Monday hope for good news.
Hope all is well with you.

Greg- a totally understandable and common reaction to the fact that you have a serious illness. However, there are indeed many folks in your life who care (just from looking at your FB pages) as well as here. An invisible network if you will. And remember, my offer stands if you want to contact me, just send me a PM or FB message. Also, be sure and keep your oncologist and primary practitioner aware of these feelings, as there are indeed some things that can be done to help.

It is normal for people to have depression with prolonged illness. In pharmacy school I did rotations in geriatrics and pediatrics. Both of these rotations they talked about depression that went along with illness because they wanted healthcare workers to be aware of the problems that go along with prolonged illness. Be careful of the drinking because it is a depressant. Take care and you are in my thoughts,
Paulo

Thanks but I will not drink. I know what it can do. It has allot of power. It beat me down many years ago. I look to Creator for strength.

Keep up the positive outlook. Looks like you got some bad news with some good news. Most important is non in brain and lungs is shrinking. Mindset is most important to get better. You have always had a positive outlook on life and that is important.
