Default Winter advise

I am a rookie at this and live in md. I have a grand nain (I believe it is ) doing well in a pot and I am trying to do some research for when colder weather hits . I plan on bringing it inside. I don’t really have any good window for sunlight spots so do I cut it back before I bring it in ? Do I continue to water it over the winter or let it go dormant ? Any advise would be great .

Welcome. There is a ton of info on this forum for overwintering and many different techniques. I would start here

Time to put the bananas to sleep for the Winter

And then expand your research using overwintering as a search term. You will find all of the advice you need to formulate a plan that works for you.

Good luck

A youtube search with videos will help keep your plant alive indoors over the winter.
Treat the plant as you would any tropical plant.
