![]() They are all looking great! Mine are mostly in my heated and lite greenhouse although its struggling to get to to my set temperature as its down to -4 here at the moment outside and due to warm to the dizzy heights of 6-8 by Monday which my heater will coupe with, Im losing some leaves but Im hopeful they should all make it come spring. Only Musa that is lucky enough to come in the house are ones that I have only have a single specimen and no pups as yet, they however are still pushing new leaves of course slowly but misted daily and happy.

![]() thanks...its funny i was thinking of posting on here earlier today after watering the plants
but then put it off since i was posting on here about once a month and a full month had not passed yet i went and took some pics just now since they have grown a fair bit of the plants which i bought from Larry (sddarkman) the east african highland banana, big mike and pisang keling seem to be in a race a small pup from my ice cream(tall namwa maybe?) is growing like crazy too it is on the middle shelf of the staduim section near the pineapples ![]() here you can see the pstem height of, from left to right: east african highland banana, big mike, pisang keling ![]() here is a pic showing the stems same plants same order ![]() east african highland banana ![]() big mike on the left/middle with the splotched leaf and pisang keling on the right with the redish underside to the leaf ![]() as far as the ones in the garage dormant... i have not even looked in there all winter it will still be a month and a half before i bring them outside i am guessing (usually may 24th) and the final stretch can be tough bugs have been erupting in waves and i have put in some work manually squishing... i did not buy predators this year i will make a few more updates since this is the last winter this set up will be my overwintering site this summer will be their last summer at this location... i plan to do some crazy stuff like put some on the roof ![]() also some in the front yard.. i always had them hidden away in the backyard thanks for checking out a fellow canadian garden... did you see my late summer/fall pics from last year? 2020 pots are outside and now thriving Last edited by subsonicdrone : 04-02-2021 at 08:34 PM. |

![]() i cut a v into one side of the stump because the centre was discoloured
it was mush down pretty deep so hopefully some pups emerge there was a cold forecast so i pulled the chips back over the stump i will probably remove a layer of chips after this stretch of cold so the pups can push through hopefully it was like a volcano before with only the stump exposed in the middle and extra deep where the pups might emerge Last edited by subsonicdrone : 04-21-2021 at 06:53 AM. |

![]() Looking good, you obviously have a gift. Good luck with the PO'd plants, I am sure they will recover. Keeping fingers crossed for that mercury to keep rising
