![]() Hello Banana Experts,
I recently bought a small dwarf cavendish (I think?) seedling, and put it in a size six pot as the instructions said. It started to grow very rapidly and now has four pups growing with it. I'm a bit concerned that these are growing so close together and they will outgrow the pot soon. But I don't want to re-pot something that's growing so well. Would it be a good idea to re-pot everything or at least some of the pups? |

![]() Yes, put it in a bigger pot. Keep the soil on the drier side. You don’t want to overwater in a big pot. That’s an easy way to get root rot.

![]() Thanks Bill.
Would it be wise to move the pups into other pots? I was under the impression it was too early to separate the pups from the main plant. |

Make sure it is in a well draining soil like many people on here suggest. |
