Default Rain and disease

So all this rain has precipitated the worst disease outbreak. I think it is a mixture of cordana and yellow sigatoka. Hua moa, dwarf pr plantain, grande nain, and gros michel are taking it on the chin. The fhia varieties seem unphased. The more I deal with fhia-17, the more I like it.

Man I almost came to see you the other day.
I was headed down 78 from the res in Brighton and it was raining so hard I missed the turn onto 441.
realized my mistake when the sign said "Pahokee 20mi"
wtf?

you keep them nanner diseases down tbere now you hear?
and no hurricanes to blow that junk up here either !

currently zero leaf diseases on bananas

peaches fungal leaf spot
fireblight on loquat
mangoes fungal leaf spot
tomatoes have blight
pakistani mulberry has spawned at least 40 butterflies this year (might as well be a disease)
snails ate some plumeria down to the trunk

Next time you're in Osceola county you can shimmy up the Kandarian and get the fuit.
Or just help me drink some beer........

Default Re: Rain and disease

So yesterday I did quite a bit of deleafing to cut down on the amount of disease and increase airflow. Thankfully, it is drying up some. Her is what I am dealing with.

Pisang Klotek

Hua Moa

Gros Michel

How about this for a beautiful morning.

I am using a 1 gallon hand sprayer. I started out with a spray of azoxystrobin and the second spray is serenade. I'll probably hit it with copper next.
