Default Banana leaf with burn? holes?

Top of leaf...

Underneath of same spot.

What the heck is this? At first I'd swear someone used a lighter on it. We've had a lot of rain lately. It's in a LARGE pot, with composted soil and vermiculite, fertilized a while back, not recently. This is the pup I got a few months ago, it was a bit strange at first, from shock being moved and all.

Any ideas? It's really weird looking! The nearby other bananas don't show anything like this.

I am not sure, but maybe some kind of bug/caterpillar?
Usually I try to avoid any compost for my potted plants. Also keep in mind, even though you have not fertilized it recently, the effect of fertilizing may not show up immediately. I have experienced similar signs of over-fertilizing especially in combination with using compost. Just speculating here, but maybe the leaf tried to grow faster than it was able to unfurl. Hope it is just growing out of it for you, until then I would take it easy on water and fertilizer.
One last thought: is it the BJ? If so, it already was a nice size with good roots and corm, so why not planting it in the ground?

Yes, it's the Blue Java, and I wanted it in a pot so it could be moved to a safer location during winter.

The compost is the bagged stuff. I haven't seen any bugs on it, but it's Florida so we have plenty of bugs around.

The CL got sunburned before it was able to unfurl.
