Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

Re: Kyle's seeds
This morning I noticed that the B. Gigantea have sprouted for me too. I soaked mine for about 6hrs and planted them in one of those 'Glad' re-useable containers with Miracle Grow potting soil and the lid on. I only watered them when they were first planted and did not use bottom heat. The lid traps the moisture and heat. Did anyone find information or pictures for the Balbisiana Gigantea?

Re: Kyle's seeds
I also have a couple of seedlings, 1st one after 3 weeks. They spent the first few weeks at room temp, so I expect more now that I've got them on heatmat.
