It will have to be paid for by money order though...is that okay? (bank issues dont ask ) I live in Northern California, Zone 9. I take good care of the plants i have. I am an inexperienced gardener though. I have never grown tropicals, and am new to growing crops. Only thing I worry about is the wild life here eating up the bananas, they eat ALL my crops! (I live next to a protected wildlife reserve) If people don't want to give to an inexperienced farmer I definitely understand. |

If you hang an old CD on your banana-plants it keeps the game away!
Good luck with growing bananas! Erlend

What town or city are you located in or near? I have several Dwarf Orinoco you could come dig, but I don't have time to deal with digging them to give away until next spring.

Well, if you want 1 or 2 Dwarf Orinoco, let me know if you want to come dig them. They aren't the best choices, however. My other cultivars don't have pups to share at this point. For that matter, it isn't the best time of year in our zone to be planting bananas. All of my recent purchases have gone in pots.

I am interested, very much so.
But, considering that fall is upon us perhaps we should wait? |

Okay so I've been looking up some other types
of interest. I really like the African Rhino (plantain) and the Red dwarf (also called jamaican red/cuban red, macaboo) banana tree. |
