I am in New Hampshire and would be interested in trying to grow from seed. I have been able you start from seed and successfully grow Ensete glaucum, superbum, ventricosum.

The one in my picture was from seed. Glaucum.

I like the challenge!

Members that are successful growing these seeds and also post photos will have access to seeds from others cultivars we pollinate.

Just harvested a large Blue Java bunch that was hand pollinated.

Ice cream banana has seeds when it is pollinated

Ice cream is seedless banana when not pollinated

Ice cream banana does not self-pollinate

Hello, my name is Lautaro, and I'm from Argentina. I'm just starting out with banana breeding and genetic improvement, and I began to see what was possible thanks to photos on this forum. So, first of all, thank you very much for these posts. Now, my question is, has anyone managed to see the plants and fruits grown from these seeds? Do you have anything to post? I'm very curious about what could have come of it. For now, I only have Bluggoe to pollinate with M. ornata. This will be my first test with an edible banana, and luckily, it also seems to be partially fertile, since it's from the ABB group, like Blue Java.
